Choremon turns chores into screen time. A parent assigns a chore worth a few minutes of play time; the child marks it done; the parent approves it; the minutes are added.
A pairing code is valid for 15 minutes, and issuing a new one immediately cancels the old one. If in doubt, go back to the pairing screen on the parent's device to get a fresh code and type the newest one. Both devices need a network connection.
This is intended. Minutes are only added when the parent approves the completed chore, not when the child ticks it. Open the parent's device and approve the chore there.
Check the tabs on the child's device. A one-off chore appears under Goals, while Daily habits only shows repeating ones. An empty Daily habits tab does not mean the chore failed to arrive.
Locking apps needs Apple's Family Controls permission, which Apple has to approve for each developer. That approval has not come through yet, so builds distributed for testing use a simulated lock: the balance goes down and the app behaves as if the shield were applied, but no app is really blocked. Everything else — chores, approvals, minutes, pairing — works for real.
The app installs on iPad, but every screen is designed for a phone held upright. It will look stretched. iPhone is the intended device for now.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refund requests go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Note that purchasing is not switched on yet — nobody is being charged today.
Email hi@trucph.am from the device you use and we will delete your family and everything in it. A delete button inside the app is still being built. Deleting the app removes everything held on that device straight away, including all Screen Time information.
Less than you might expect, and nothing that reaches us. iOS hands the app anonymous tokens rather than app names, and both those tokens and the minutes counted stay on the device. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
